"It is a perfect day." I think I heard these words spoken a million times. It was true. It was a perfect day. The sun was shinning the sky was blue and it was Anne & James wedding day. The story begins at

Church of the Ascension

in Overland Park. It's a big, open and warm church where family and friends gathered. We kept Anne a secret from James even though they were just across the entry way from one another. Each one was giddy with anticipation. Excitement was definitely in the air. As Anne made her way down the aisle James starred in awe. She was a vision. Her eyes steady on him the whole time it's like no one else was even around. The pews were filled and each witnessed the beautiful love between them. Everyone loves love.

After the ceremony we hopped on a trolley were the real festivities began! We had the tunes jammin' and everyone was shakin' their booties. My second shooter, Christine, I love this woman more than anything. She is the silliest and always has the wedding party cracking up and doing goofy things. This was one of those times too. She's a nut. We arrived at the

Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

and spent our time going all around taking gorgeous and incredible pictures. Anne's long veil, the girls giggling, and the boys dapper good looks made for a fun afternoon. I'm pretty sure we all sweated a ton but it was sooooo worth it.

Our final stop for the night was at the

Overland Park Marriott

. The place was decorated so perfectly. There's that word again, perfect. The cake was delicious, the toasts were tearful, the dancing was a blast. Anne even got a serenade from the guys. It was quiet a great night. I loved every second.

Congratulations Anne & James. Here's to a lifetime of health, wealth and happiness.
