Yes, I'm yelling that. Yes, it had to be in caps and bolded. Not even kidding that Jessica & Evan are absolutely the best people in the entire world. I love them. I adore them. I want to be them. They are beautiful, sweet, kind, funny, and more. It's kinda sicking, but you can't help but fall head over heels for them. I knew from the second we started their engagement session last fall that this was going to be an epic wedding. I don't use the word epic lightly so prepare yourselves for LOTS of amazing blog pictures below. I mean, at the end of their engagement session they pulled off the famous Dirty Dancing lift. Say what?!? So incredible. I've never seen it attempted or let alone done right before but they nailed it. I'm am so, so, so happy I got a picture of it (see it below too. It's too good not to share). They loved it too because they blew it up HUGE and displayed it at the wedding. Eeek! I'm giddy like a school girl.

It was a cloudy day with light sprinkles and an outside ceremony.... uh, just a little nervous. Back up plan was good to go with moving the ceremony inside though so we weren't sweating it. The fates were with us and God made sure this wedding was everything it was supposed to be and more. The clouds stayed but the rain stopped completely about 45 minutes before the ceremony! Perfectness. The ceremony and reception were both held at

The Rhapsody

in Independence, Missouri. This was my first time shooting there and it was beautiful. There is a separate little house on the property for the girls to get ready in, a sweet and pretty outdoor ceremony area, and the reception room had the most beautiful warm glow of lights. The venue is gorgeous inside and out.

Oh, can this crowd dance. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE young and old were out on the dance floor all night long. It's a photographers dream come true to have so much dancing and laughing going on the entire reception. Never was there a dull moment. I stayed until the very last second of the night and I walked away smiling ear to ear. It was so great. I told them I want them to get married every weekend so we can do it all over again!

Congratulations Jessica & Evan. You are simply amazing. I am beyond grateful that God put you into my life and you chose me as your photographer. I will never, ever forget your wedding or you both. xoxo

Biggest shout out ever to my BFF and second shooter Christine. I love her so much it hurts. She can rock a camera like no one else. Muah!
