Just a few short weeks ago I was so lucky to photograph McCall and Jake's absolutely stunning wedding. Probably one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever attended. So elegant and classic. The wedding party was ridiculously fun which makes my job even more of a blast!

The day started out at the magnificent Redemptorist Church on Broadway in Downtown Kansas City. This church is SO pretty. So many details and all beautiful light surrounds the church with such warmth. It's impossible to have anything but a beautiful ceremony there.

From the church the wedding party and I all jumped into a trolley and headed for Kaufman Memorial Gardens. Everything is in full bloom and it's so colorful there. Definitely one of my favorite spots to shoot at. Next on the list was to venture down to The Sawyer Room where the reception was going to take place. There were some pictures to be had first though! Downtown street and rooftop pictures are a MUST when you are down there. Perfect area to do it and Eric, who runs The Sawyer Room, helped us block off traffic to get some great shots! Eric is so awesome to work with. He was so helpful the entire night. And big shout out to Fernando who killed it DJ-ing all night. He's amazing!

Only one mishap that night when I was so gracefully standing on a chair to get a great dance floor shot and the chair folded in on my leg/ankle and I couldn't get it off! Two guests had to pry if off my leg! I had to wrap and ice it for about 4 days and no gym for 2 weeks (oh boo hoo), BUT I saved the camera and got the shot. That's all that matters! haha

McCall and Jake, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of such a special day. I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world!!
